Wheels
all the wheels were rather rusty having stood for 25 years in an exposed shed and covered in leaves
May 2004:

and another rusty wheel (once you've seen one, you've seen them all!). Four new tyres/tubes purchased as all the tyres would fail the MOT due to cracking.
August 2004:
By August, all wheels had been removed, stripped and hand painted with Hammerite. New rim tapes and four new 4.50 x 18" tyres & tubes have been fitted.
August 2006:
The only "good" spare (to be fair by now almost 30 years old) had cracks in the walls so had to be replaced along with a new tube and rim tape.
