Front Hubs

June 2006:

Front hub came off using a conventional three-legged puller - the Austin back axle puller which I thought would fit - was too small.

The original and new hub seals - the old one was smaller and possibly hand-cut.

The castellated ring was done up very tight and required heating to get it to move

The big bearing was OK but the smaller outer bearing had some play and was beginning to make a noise

All back together again - the friction caused by the new seal was very noticeable.
