Four Flavours of Austin Ten
There are four main flavours of pre-war Austin Ten saloons:
All had the same 10hp four-cylinder water cooled 1125cc engine having bore 63.5mm and stroke 89mm. Power grew from 20bhp at 2,600 rpm in 1932 up to 32bhp at 4,000rpm by 1939

Aug 1934 - July 1936 54,377 built probably best identified as the Lichfield with cowled radiator and enclosed spare wheel. |
July 1936- May 1939 73,632 built probably best identified as the Cambridge with more flowing body and divided rear window |
May 1939 - 1941 Oct 1944 - 1948 new shape probably best identified as a GS1 with unitary body |
